Hyundai unveiled the HCD-14 Genesis Concept at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show and now plans to show it one more time at this weekend’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The concept will be displayed on the Concept Lawn, which brings into focus some of the most innovative concepts of the moment and presents "future automobile development in the context of its gloried past."
Each year only 20 concepts are accepted for displayed on the Pebble Beach Concept Lawn, so having your vehicle presented there is a huge privilege. Before being accepted onto the lawn, each concept needs to pass rigorous Concours criteria for its overall design propriety and technological significance. Alongside the concept, the automaker needs to bring to the lawn the lead concept designers who will have to talk about the concept and to present their vision of the future automobile’s unlimited potential.
