Over the past few months, we’ve caught Ferrari testing what we thought was a revised version of the current California . Well, it now looks like the Prancing Horse will finally unveil this model on February 12th, 2014 — ahead of its world debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show , on March 4th. The new model is expected to hit showrooms in May.
The initial teaser image (above) reveals that the project is codenamed "149M" and, considering that the current California is codenamed F149 and that "M" stands for "modified," than it’s pretty clear that we will see an updated version of the current convertible.
In fact, this is not the first time Ferrari offered an "M" version of a model. If you remember, the 550 was replaced in 2002 by the 575M Maranello , which was nothing more than an updated 550.
