Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude 2014

11:38 PM
There’s something really appealing about the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that its Cherokee little brother just doesn’t. Maybe its the way they look, and quite frankly, we don’t dig the new design of the Cherokee that much.

That being said, the Grand Cherokee really fits our bill, more so now that Jeep decided to release a special edition Altitude model for its full-sized SUV . The model is based on the Laredo and is available in either a two-wheel- or four-wheel-drive configuration.

Unfortunately, no power upgrades we’re given to the Grand Cherokee Altitude, although with its 3.6-liter, Pentastar V-6 engine that produces 290 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, we don’t mind what the SUV already has at its disposal.

If you’re looking to score one of these special edition bad boys, the Grand Cherokee Altitude retails at $35,290 for the 4x2 model and $37,290 for the 4x4 with an extra $995 for destination. A variety of colors are being offered, too, giving you a choice of shade that includes Billet Silver, Bright White, Brilliant Black Metallic Coat, Deep Cherry, Granite Crystal and Maximum Steel.
