Lamborghini Aventador Dieci by DMC 2014

5:25 AM
DMC has prepared an impressive catalog of upgrade kits for the Lamborghini Aventador over the years, and it decided that each tenth unit would be marked in a special way. This new Aventador "Dieci" (Italian for number ten) was specially developed for a customer in Kuwait, and it so happens to mark the 40th DMC-modified Aventador , and along with some pretty cool updates to the exterior and interior, it also received some updates under the hood.

The Aventador wears the "LP700" badge in its name, meaning this model delivers 700 horsepower. However, for the new Dieci edition, DMC changed it to LP900, meaning it boosted the output level to 900 horsepower.

To hit 900 ponies, DMC installed 12 single-intake throttle plates — one per cylinder — then it replaced the fuel pumps, pressure modulators and injection nozzles for better flow, optimized the engine electronics, installed new wiring and added a new titanium exhaust system.

For the exterior updates the new Dieci adds a redesigned spoiler sword and a stunning front-splitter lip, new side skirts, a lightened carbon fiber diffuser and an added tunnel system, plus, of course, a new rear wing spoiler that further improves the aerodynamics at the rear axle.
