It’s October, folks, and that means it is time for the pink cars to start rolling out in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month!
For the third year in a row, Chevrolet 
prepares to raise funds for the American Cancer Society to help fight the most common cancer in women in the U.S. Last year, the company raised a total of $1,211,463, and it hopes to do the same this year.

To help raise these funds, Chevrolet prepared a series of fundraising walks, test-drive promotions, service rebate promotions and recognition at select NASCAR Sprint Cup Races. At the Advocare 500 race, a Chevrolet Camaro SS coated in pink will serve as the pace car.

The Camaro SS Pace Car wears a combination of pink and white, and features a series of special logos and stickers. The model is also equipped with sirens and lots of LED lights that will help it stand out on the race track in case of an incident — as if the hot pink isn’t obvious enough.
