Rolls-Royce Phantom Ruby Edition 2013

11:00 AM
Here’s one thing we’ve come to know about luxury cars in the Middle East: there’s no such thing as too over-the-top. Maybe that’s why luxury car brands have been extra flexible to acquiesce to the clientele in that region, including Rolls-Royce, which just unveiled a pretty unique Phantom that you wouldn’t find anywhere else in the world.

The official name of the car is the Phantom Ruby Edition and as the name evidently implies, the theme centers around rubies, considered as one of the rarest gems in the world.
On the outside, the Phantom Ruby Edition was dressed in a Merlot Red Mica exterior paint finish and complemented by an interior that carries a Seashell and Mugello Red interior theme. The distinctive cabin also boasts of a number of high-luxury components, not the least of which was the use of Marine White hand-selected wood and Seashell star lights that contrast perfectly against the Mugello Red seat piping, the Consort Red carpets and the Lambswool mats.
Ruby Marquetry inlays prominently decorate the fascia, as well as the front and rear headrests. Even the personalized clock has its own a cut ruby stone inlay with the personally embroidered glove box, bearing the description "Ruby motif - one of one."
Needless to say, this one-off Rolls-Royce Phantom screams to the kind of market that Abu Dhabi is and, quite frankly, we’re not surprised the least bit that the Phantom Ruby Edition is one for that region.
