The guys over at Road And Track always seem to have their hands full of the biggest and best sports cars currently on the market, and their latest tests brings out the best of Italy, Britain, and the US of A. These guys hit Spring Mountain’s Radical Loop with the Ferrari 458 Italia, the McLaren MP4-12C, and the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.
The least powerful model of the group is the 458 Italia, which is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine that delivers a total of 570 HP. Then comes the MP4-12C, which is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing a total of 616 HP (for the 2013 model year). Finally, there is the top notch Corvette, the ZR1, which is the most powerful with a 6.2-liter LS9 aluminum block V8 engine that delivers a total of 638 HP.
