Mostro Di-Potenza SF22 2012

3:06 AM

Last year, Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa and Alberto Fernandez Albilares developed the Lamborghini Indomable Concept at the Scuola Politecnica di Design Master. It was a ruggedly handsome concept completed in collaboration with Lamborghini and inspired by stealth jetfighters. No one ever thought that this concept would actually ever make it to the production line, and technically, it won’t. Not under Lamborghini anyway. 215 Racing - we’d be shocked if anyone ever heard of them - has purchased the rights to the Indomable and are planning to put the concept into production in a limited run of 50 units. Each unit will be priced at $950,000.
The Indomable will be making its production entrance under the name Mostro Di-Potenza SF22, showing the supercar’s connection with the F22 Raptor. Mostro Di-Potenza is 215 Racing’s sub company and their name means Monster Power in Italian, which is more than fitting considering this vehicle is prepared to take on no less than 2,000 HP. With this insane output just waiting to be utilized, the SF22 will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and will be capable of a top speed of 265 mph - 2 mph slower than the fastest supercar in the world, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
215 Racing/ Mostro Di-Potenza has confirmed today that they have finally signed a partnership with Lamborghini LatinoAmerica meaning that the beautiful 2000HP SF-22 concept drawing will become a reality as a 2013 Lamborghini. The company is still looking for a name, but it will keep SF-22 because it pays homage to the fighter jet that inspired the design. There will be 23 to 24 cars built annually and there are hopes for a 2 years run.
